THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWNSHIP OF RAMARA
Proud History – Progressive Future
February 12, 2016
Notice
Following a decision made by council, effective immediately, Ramara Fire & Rescue
Services will be reducing their level of service from a Level A response to Level B calls
only, Township wide, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. daily. This is in
response to the addition of a Rapid Response Unit provided by the County of Simcoe
now located at Station 1 in Brechin, on a one year trial basis.
This change in service means that Ramara Fire and Rescue Services will no longer be
responding to the following types of calls during the aforementioned hours, as they are
all considered Level A calls:
Cardiac Chest Pain
Acute Shortness of Breath
Convulsion I Seizure, patient over 30, with no or unknown history
If you have any questions regarding this change in service, please contact the Municipal
Office, at 705-484-5374 ext. 253.
