LAKE SIMCOE REGION CONSERVATION AUTHORITY

Council took a vote and ratified that Ramara Township would not be a member of the LSRCA as of Januray 1, 2017.  Rising costs of permits/fees, delays in getting permits, and duplicate regulations were of the reasons the township felt leaving the LSRCA would be more efficient and cost-effective for the residents and staff.  Of course we are still under the Provincial Government regulations of the Lake Simcoe Protection Plan, Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Ministry of Natural Resources.
