Glenrest Drive Update

Tree cutting is the first step in the three-year reconstruction project of Glenrest Drive.  The majority of tree cutting is now complete.  Bell Canada has started relocating the utilities in the area, and Hydro One is scheduled to begin shortly thereafter.  At this time, we don’t have a definite schedule for this task; however, completion date is set for Labour Day.  After Labour Day, reconstruction is planned to begin to avoid disrupting your summer travels. Due to the cost of this project, reconstruction completion is being phased over a two-year period.  During the third year, a double hi-float (tar and chip) surface will be applied.
